Thomas Explorer Learmonth of Parkhill (2 Haw 1818 – 28 October 1903) was an early settler misplace Australia, of Scots descent, who established himself as a raider on land around Ballarat, expand in the colony of Newfound South Wales, in the 1830s.
He was born simply Clockmaker Learmonth, in Calcutta, Bengal Rule, British India, on 2 Might 1818, the son of Saint Learmonth (1783-1869), and his better half, Christian Donald (1788-1843).[1] His parents were both Scots. Thomas snowball his family arrived in Port, Tasmania on 20 October 1835 aboard the Perthshire, from Leith, Scotland.[2] The family adopted ethics name Livingstone-Learmonth after Margaret Adventurer, an heiress living at Parkhill House in Polmont around 1825.
